SourcingPick is the trading name of Hangzhou Qiyuan Ying Technology Information Co., Ltd., a company incorporated in China. We run a 200 m² warehouse in Guangzhou, Baiyun District, with four technicians.
Because everything can be checked: the warehouse address is given to you as soon as you sign up, every step is photographed and every document stays in your client area. You judge by the evidence, not by promises.
Yes. Our services are designed for SMEs that import by container, but we also help private individuals with one-off projects.
No limit: we ship to every country served by the shipping lines out of China’s major ports. France, the rest of Europe and French-speaking Africa are where we are most practised; for anywhere else, ask us for a quotation.
Logistics
They depend on production at your suppliers and on the next sailing from the chosen port. Allow 2 to 3 months between order and delivery. The precise estimate is in your quotation.
Made to measure. Depending on what suits you, we hand customs clearance to our freight forwarder or send the documents to yours. Duties and import VAT remain payable by you.
We do container consolidation: your goods are grouped at the warehouse with other shipments until they make up a full container. Contact us with your volume and your deadlines and we will tell you where that lands.
It depends on several things. On volume: a few cartons do not take up the same space as half a pallet. On waiting time: if we are building up a container, your goods wait until it is full. On the season: before Chinese New Year the warehouse is packed and space is counted. And on the nature of the goods: sensitive, valuable or regulated items are received and loaded within the day, during opening hours, and do not stay overnight. One working day of storage is included after receipt; beyond that, the rate is on your quotation.
We offer both, as well as road freight. Air freight suits a small, urgent package; road and rail are possible, but we advise against them. The calculator on the Shipping page gives you an estimate for each.
Inspection
Whatever you ask us to: quantities, condition of the packaging, labels, product appearance. You receive the photos and video in your client area.
We let you know before loading, with photos, and you decide what to do next with your supplier.
Sourcing
Yes. Our agents search for factories, compare them and negotiate with them, then send you a detailed quotation. You approve it before any order is placed.
Our commission is 2% on the goods we buy on your behalf, plus 3% on the freight. No fixed search fee and no admin charge.
Sourcing includes two shortlists of suppliers. If neither suits you, or if your specifications cannot be met on market terms, we can end the search with a simple written message, with no compensation payable by either side. If no order is placed, no commission is due; only the à la carte services already performed, such as a visit, remain payable.
Payment
A deposit of 40% on order, the balance before the container is loaded. By bank transfer, on invoice.
The sums you pay are allocated to your order and committed in stages: purchase from the supplier, quality control, then shipment. Every stage is traced in your client area. SourcingPick is not a payment institution: funds are not held in escrow, they are contractually allocated to your order.
App
French, English and Chinese. The website itself is available in 12 languages.
